Increase the default concurrent call limit to a webservice from a machine

There is a limit to the number of concurrent calls that you can make to a webserver. This is a bottleneck.

The concurrenct call limit forces your application to wait for the lock to be releases and slows down your application. You can change this behavior, by editing the web configuration file.

Go to the System.Net section, and look for connectionManagement . If it is not there add it, or edit the default value to a larger value.

<system.net>
  <connectionManagement>
    <add address="*" maxconnection="10" />
  </connectionManagement>
</system.net>
